What is happening with my Future account?
Future is getting an upgrade and we are excited for you to try it! If you love Future’s rewards today, look forward to even better perks and higher cashback. We paid out $1.3M in rewards for transit and other green choices this year and are just getting started.

The upgrade will not impact your hard-earned rewards and account balance. If you choose to upgrade, you’ll receive a new account number and new debit card(s) on or before September 30. Our banking partner remains Piermont Bank, based in New York, NY.
What changes will I see after the upgrade?
After the upgrade, while your app experience will stay familiar, you will notice some exciting new features:
   
Better rewards: Take advantage of more cashback opportunities, including more ways to earn 10% back.

More financial tools: Enjoy wire transfers, free instant transfers to friends on Future, check deposits directly through the Future app and higher transaction limits for active Members.      

New bank account number and cards: You’ll receive a new account number, along with a new FutureCard(s).  
  
Enhanced security: We’ve added additional layers of security.
Where can I find your updated terms?
What do I need to do to continue using my Future account?
To ensure a seamless upgrade, we need your consent to our updated terms. To consent, click the "Accept" link sent to you via SMS or email.
What if I do not want to continue using my Future account?
If you do not consent to the upgrade, your Future account will close on September 30, and any funds in your account will be returned to you by check to the mailing address we have on file.
Will my account balance and rewards be affected?
No, your account balance and rewards will be reflected in your upgraded account. The upgrade is designed to be smooth and to protect your financial information throughout the process.
Will my current debit card stop working?
Yes, you will receive a new FutureCard(s). Your current card will stop working on September 30.
When will I receive my new account number and debit cards?
Your new account number and digital card will be available in the app the moment we are ready to upgrade you, which will happen in batches starting September 27. Don’t worry, we will notify you again when it’s your turn to upgrade. The physical card, if you have one currently, will be mailed to you automatically. You can continue using your current card until your update is complete, at which point your current FutureCard will no longer be active. Please remember to remove your old virtual card from your digital wallet and add your new one.
Will I need to update any of my recurring payments or direct deposits?
Yes, sorry! We know it’s a hassle, but it will be worth it. You will need to update the card and account details for any recurring payments, direct deposits, or other transactions. We recommend doing this as soon as your upgrade is completed.
How do I file disputes going forward?
Disputes will now be handled directly by Future to make this experience easier for our Members. This change is designed to provide faster resolution and more direct support.
Is my money safe during the upgrade process?
Yes, your funds will remain secure throughout the upgrade. Future offers additional security features to protect your account and personal information. Your checking account will continue to be FDIC insured up to $250,000 through Piermont Bank; Member FDIC.
Will my login passcode work?
Yes, your passcode will continue to work.
Will I need to relink my bank account and debit cards to fund my Future account?
Yes, sorry again! You will need to relink your bank account and debit cards to the new card.
Will I need to add $10 to unlock my points again, or will my points still be unlocked?
Your points will be ready to be cashed out into your available balance, if you choose.
How do I set up my PIN for my new card?
Setting up your card PIN can now be done directly in the Future app once you have upgraded.
