Future is one of 12 companies the Boston Techstars Accelerator announced today for its winter class. The selected companies, chosen from hundreds of applicants from all over the world, represent a diverse set of founders focused on making a positive difference.
“I wanted to accelerate companies that save lives, save the planet, and change the way we live and work,” said Gregory Raiz, the incoming managing director of Techstars Boston.
The Boston accelerator is the second oldest accelerator in the Techstars network. First founded in 2009, the program has produced billions in economic value, over a hundred companies and thousands of jobs.
"We are busy growing our team to help families and individuals save money and lower their carbon footprint," said Kamal Bhattacharya, Future's Chief Scientist and co-founder. "We are excited to be part of the Techstars Accelerator and Boston's strong ecosystem in fintech and AI."
Future recently launched the Visa FutureCard, the first of several tools to make it easy to make smart financial decisions that positively impact our climate.
